On his way, he meets farmer Minka, policeman Murr and Aunt Flecki – and they all slip him something yummy. Resolutely, Timmy opens the door to his home and fetches the well-deserved sausage from the fridge. As he returns to the picnic spot, it is already dark. Finally, it is time for sausage – and to finish off, desert for the whole family. A desert which Timmy brought with him too.
Doris Lechers detailed and colourful illustrations invite the eye to look very closely – does the family of cats really keep a mouse as a pet? Small and large explorers will enjoy this book and are sure to quite astounded by the fierce determination of the little hero to get his sausage.
